Neat Sponsors Nuts Over The Atlantic
Nuts Over The Atlantic is a team of four friends that, individually, have climbed Kilimanjaro, cycled to Paris, completed a marathon in the Arctic Circle, and driven a Mototaxi across Peru.
Seeking the next challenge, team Nuts are rowing 3000+ miles across the Atlantic Ocean as part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge - one of the toughest races on Earth.
The race began from the inspiring thoughts and plans that Sir Chay Blyth had whilst he was rowing the Atlantic Ocean in 1966 with Jon Ridgeway. It was 92 days of battle against hurricanes, 50ft waves and a near starvation diet. It's no surprise then that more people have been into space, or climbed Everest than have rowed the Atlantic. It takes a certain kind of person to keep going when faced with blisters, salt rash, sharks and sleep deprivation.
But taking part isn’t enough, they want to win, and in doing so, raise £100,000 for The Movember Foundation and Men’s Health worldwide. This ambition underpins everything they do. It is the driving force behind their campaigns, funding strategy, and vision for the future.
Before, during and after the row the #NutsGoRow tour will take them all over the country, where they will be holding events in order to achieve their goal.
The mental and physical endurance will result in a life changing achievement and Neat Nutrition will be supporting them as much as possible along the way, providing them with the cleanest fuel and latest in nutrition science to ensure the team are in absolute peak condition at the start of the race.
