Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Balls
Oh ambassador, with these Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Balls, you’re really spoiling us! The best thing about these delightful creations? They’re made entirely of whole foods and will give you a punch of energy without any of that processed sugar nonsense.
Hazelnuts are full of ‘good fats’ – monounsaturated fats that aid in maintaining healthy cholesterol levels, which is good news for your heart. Their mix of these fats along with protein and fibre can keep you feeling fuller for longer. Hazelnuts don’t stop there though, they also contain vitamin E and minerals like copper and magnesium which help reduce high blood pressure.
So what are you waiting for? Whip these tasty treats up and add them in your food prep to ensure your snacking in the best possible way.
METHOD:
As with our other protein ball recipes, this is easy peasy and should take no longer than ten minutes. Just pop everything into a bowl and mix up. Use the hazelnut milk to bind the dry ingredients and add a little at a time until you have a consistency that’s firm but allows you to roll into balls.
Once you’ve got your shape, roll each ball in chopped hazelnuts for that extra hit of nutty flavour and boom! You’ve got a healthier alternative to a classic indulgence.
