Vegan Chocolate Cookies
Although we're advocates for living a healthy lifestyle, we're all about balance here at Neat, and sometimes a really delicious chocolate chip cookie is exactly what the doctor ordered! This recipe is made using our chocolate vegan protein, is 100% plantbased and can easily be made gluten free; but don't be fooled, they taste just like the real deal! Anyone for (almond) milk and cookies?
METHOD:
Preheat oven to 180c. Cream together the sugar and vegetable spread. Once combined, stir in the vanilla extract.
Sieve the dry ingredients into the bowl and combine together. Fold until a ball of dough forms. Add chocolate chips and fold to distribute throughout the cookie dough.
Line a baking tray with baking parchment and scoop 1tsp of cookie dough and roll into a ball. Place onto the baking tray. Leave about an inch between each ball. Use two baking trays if required.
Bake for 15 mins. Remove from oven and press on extra chocolate chips now if using. Leave to cool for 10 mins then carefully transfer to a cooling rack.
