Make the Most Out of Longer, Lighter Days This Summer

This July, we’re championing all things summer and how to make the most out of the short period of long, light, warm days we get to enjoy here in the UK. So, here’s our top tips on how to do just that...

Go The Extra Mile
Now is the time to smash those fitness goals, before it’s dark and cold and feels impossible to get out of bed! Take advantage of getting an extra few hours of daylight and sneak out early doors – or late evening – for a run or cycle in the park. Doing extra cardio has never seemed so appealing!

Spend More Time in Nature

There’s no refuting that spending more time outside is good for our health. It's linked to fighting fatigue, boosting productivity, improving mental health and even lowering blood pressure. But does that mean doom and gloom for us office working city-dwellers? Not so fast… here’s how you can benefit from spending more time in the great outdoors, even with a hectic city job.

Switch Up Your Workouts

With Summer finally here, now is the perfect time to switch things up and take your training outside. To help give your body the stimulus it needs to get leaner, stronger and fitter, we’ve created this four-week fitness plan that requires zero kit – but will give you infinite fitness gains.

Get Productive

With the light streaming in your window from 5 in the morning, it’s so much easier to wake up early in summer. Get into a routine now so that even when the dark mornings draw in, your body clock is programmed to wake up with the birds. It’s not an easy habit to master, but just think about how much more you’ll achieve!

Get Creative with Your Social Life

Summer is the perfect opportunity to try something new and to get exploring. Instead of just heading to your local pub, get out after work and explore a new area or gather the troops together at one of London's top bbq-friendly parks.

Watch the Sunrise / Sunset

We appreciate it’s a bit soppy, but we don’t get to see a sunrise or sunset all that often! Seeing the sunrise is pretty great way to start the day, but if you don't fancy a crack of dawn wake up call, you could just go for sunset drinks on a rooftop… your call!
