Snickerdoodle Protein Balls!
What's a Snickerdoodle we hear you say? We'll let us tell you; it's a delicious buttery sugar cookie covered in cinnamon. Here at Neat HQ we thought we’d take the idea of the humble Snickerdoodle and give it a healthy twist.
Cinnamon is actually a pretty awesome ingredient. You may sprinkle it on your latte or smell it wafting through a shopping centre, but there’s so much to the humble spice. It helps regulate your blood sugar levels, and can reduce tissue damage and inflammation. There are also tests that show it can improve cognitive function and increase focus and concentration! So what better base ingredient for some protein balls that will not only keep the hunger at bay but might just help you pay attention at work!
METHOD:
As with all our protein ball recipes, it’s nice and simple. Chuck everything in the blender and whizz for a minute or until the mixture comes together. Form into walnut sized balls and then roll each ball in cinnamon & a granulated sweetener of your choice. Job done!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup oats (blended to flour)

- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup milk of choice - enough to bind the mixture
